Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail For instance, it is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption function in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired like armor, weapon or rings. This replaces the item with another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. They don't maintain the original item's level and any money wasted will not be refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests, or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item, for example increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage that melee and weapons and spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.
There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To create them, you'll need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.
During the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their accounts. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for players who are new to the game. However, there are numerous ways to acquire these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Leveling

A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will increase by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be put into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases defense base and gives an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Certain items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. This includes the type of item (either weapon or armor), the level of the item and the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory when you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
