World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade
The feature of upgrading items allows players to increase the level for weapons that can be equipped or armor. This improves the stats and can also add buffs or rerolls an affix.
It is important to remember that upgrading your magic and common gear is not always worth it. Rare and exclusive gear will quickly outclass modernized magic and common equipment.
Cost
If a player wants to upgrade an item, they must pay Gold for the upgrade. The cost of upgrading an item varies based on the current level of the item and the type of upgrade. For instance, upgrading a weapon will generally be less expensive than upgrading armor, as weapons require lower levels of skill. The amount of Gold required to upgrade an item increases as the item is upgraded to a higher level.
Upgraded items will also have enhanced stats that can boost its performance in a variety of ways. This can include boosting its attack strength or critical strike chance. Additionally, an upgraded item may be able to offer additional buffs for its equipped unit. These upgrades can be used for a variety of reasons for example, to increase the overall strength of an individual or group unit. They can also be a significant influence on the gameplay.
Items can be upgraded by any NPC that is an upgrader in the game. These NPCs can be found in the major questing areas or capital cities. You can also find upgraders of items in dungeons that feature high-level bosses and talking to NPCs in garrisons of your faction.
The item upgrade system in World of Warcraft provides players with the possibility of upgrading the levels of armor, weapons, and trinkets. This process is similar to reforging of gear in Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor. However, instead of using currency, players have to visit an upgrader for their item to complete the process.
Item upgrades can be costly, particularly when it comes to weapons and armor. Depending on the upgrade track each step up in item level can cost several Valorstones or crests. item upgrading could be a major burden for players who do not have the funds or are unable to grind them.
The game allows you to roll a new item by using a specific tool from the menu of items. This option allows you to exchange the upgraded item for an equivalent level 1 version of it which comes with an additional set of bonus effects. This is useful for obtaining better rolls on items that have already been upgraded, but could be a waste of money.
Requirements
Upgrading is the procedure of increasing the level of equippable items like trinkets, weapons, and armor. This improves their effectiveness and makes them more effective in combat. Players can upgrade their gear by paying the appropriate currency at an upgrader. However, players must be aware that some upgrades have specific requirements.
Early upgrades only increase the power of the item's base level. Later upgrades offer more significant increases. Upgrades from levels 3 to 6 will increase the weapon's damage plus two levels. Additionally the upgraded item will receive an additional stat that is based on the level at which it was purchased. The bonus is a combination of a guaranteed substat and random generated stats, which will vary from upgrade to upgrade.
Reroll Tokens can be used to reroll an item which has been upgraded. The new item comes with distinct set of bonuses, and a lower level for the item. The rerolled item also has different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to note that the rerolled item does not have its original level or even a fraction of its resources.
Rerolling upgraded items is only possible if the item that was upgraded was Epic, Rare, or Unique. Extraordinary items are also allowed to be rerolled, but their original stats will be replaced with an uninvolved bonus. This means that rerolling a Rare item will result in a Normal version the same kind, while rerolling an Epic item will result in an elite version of the same kind.

An upgraded item may also include additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item and boost its performance. These additional modifiers do not come with the upgrade cost. You can buy them at the Trading Post, or through other players. They can also be earned by completing specific tasks in the game.
To upgrade a piece of equipment, visit the NPC [Armoror Boboko located in Central Flarine. You will require Power Dices depending on the item. (Dice 6 are dropped by monsters 21+, Giants and Bosses; Dice 12 from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.
Time is an important factor.
Upgrades to items are a method to boost your gear and ship stats without the need to upgrade them. Upgrades aren't cheap, but they are a good way to increase your stats without having to spend as much time fighting. However, it's important to be aware of the cost and benefits of upgrades to your item before investing your money or time.
Each upgrade boosts the base stat of an item by a certain amount, and also gives a chance to gain a bonus substat increase. The additional substat is randomly assigned, and can vary from a tiny increase in one statistic to an even greater increase in another. Concentrate on the things that perform best in slot first. They will give you a more profit for your investment.
You can see the time it takes to complete an upgrade by opening your inventory and selecting the weapon, ship or accessory. The upgrade window will then display the progress and expected completion time. In certain situations, you might be able to speed up the process of upgrading by using an Glyph.
It is also possible to retrieve certain or all upgrade components from an item using a high-end salvage kit sold by Black Lion Salvage and Ascended Salvage. This does not apply to legendary equipment or upgrades that can only be recovered using an upgrade extractor or reclaiming with the corresponding Karma dealer.
Take advantage of the benefits
Upgrades to items reward players with a variety of items and currency. Each upgrade also has the chance to grant a random stat bonus. The value of the bonus will vary for every upgrade, and is typically more expensive for rarer items. The Great Vault can be searched by players to determine if an item is upgradeable. The search can assist in determining whether the item is of a specific level and if the player would benefit by an upgrade.
During the upgrade process, an item will gradually advance to the next level, however, it isn't always able to reach the full upgrade bar. This process is based on Growthstones and Sollant however there is a chance of getting an upgraded item in just one cycle. The more levels an item receives the higher its boosted stats value and the more items it is able to upgrade into.
Upgrade components can be incorporated into weapons, armor and trinkets to earn an attribute bonus or a special effect, when the equipment is worn. Certain upgrade components also have cosmetic effects. Players can obtain upgrade components by crafting, purchasing from vendors or on the Trading Post, looting, or obtaining an incentive. Players can also retrieve upgraded items by using an Upgrade extractor or salvaging using a salvage of a higher tier kit. Glyphs that are positioned on gathering tools are able to be swapped.
The player can transform an item into another upgradeable item by selecting it and pressing the green button with an arrow for reroll. This will change the layout of the item's window and allow players to choose up to six items to "recycle". The item will be replaced by a level 1 item. Recycled items won't keep their level, nor the resources used to upgrade them.
The maximum level of upgrade for an item is determined by its tier and quality. Rare and Epic items are able to be upgraded up to level nine, while common items can only be upgraded up to level six. The upgrades to an item are added to the item's base statistics, meaning that they do not increase after a certain point.
