Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a special item that makes certain Pokemon change. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc, and is often offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be applied to armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools in order to raise their item level. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, based on the item type.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons, armors and gathering tools in order to increase attribute bonuses or other effects while using the equipment. The equipment being upgraded must be equipped with an upgrade slot to accept the component, and the majority of upgrade components require the item to be upgraded to be at an amount. Some upgrade components also have special visual effects when they are added to an equipment piece. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, bought from karma merchants, traded with other players on the Trading Post or taken from equipment, or obtained as rewards in game.
Various upgrade components are available, each offering a different bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions are able to be applied to any type of equipment. They provide fewer bonuses than the other types of upgrade components. Infusions are used in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, while enrichments are used for some items that are ascended back. Most upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item, but doing so destroys the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs which can only be inserted in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both can be removed and reinserted.

Insignias and enchantments will show their names in the item's hover display, while upgrades that have a suffix or prefix will add their names to the end of the equipment's name (e.g. for example, a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrades that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements like ligatures and fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel allows you to add and view these unique characters, as well as regular symbols like em and en dashes as being trademark symbols registered to be used.
Each Glyph provides a primary stat boost for the character. The glyph could also be equipped with up to four secondary stats that will alter the radius of your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost that is multiplied by other bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.
Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will open a window that shows the Glyphs that are available to you. You only need to apply the correct Glyph to the selected item. Each weapon or jewelry piece has its own collection of Glyphs.
Glyphs can be improved by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult a Dungeon is, the more Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15, it can be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The radius of the Paragon Board increases by one node every 15 levels at which a Glyph is upgraded.
Once a Glyph is leveled up to the desired level you can activate it by selecting it, then clicking the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will provide its stated benefit and also boost all the other nodes that are within its range on the Paragon Board. It's crucial to place glyphs where they will be most beneficial to your build, and that is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs could also provide double bonus in the event that certain conditions are satisfied.
Click the cycle widget to change the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in a different font. You can narrow the list of glyphs further by choosing an option beneath "Entire Font": for example, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method in which you create a new account to give yourself more opportunities to play a character or weapon that you are interested in. This can be done to help you level up faster or to gain more loot, for example, a better weapon for your character. Many players reroll until they get the characters they like regardless of their abilities. It could be that they like the design or personality of the character.
You should ensure that you make a clean change when you restart. This means you should verify locally that the patch passes the pre-commit tests, and you should also conduct a core development test. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue with an unmodified diff (see What about an interdiff? ).
Rerolls can take days or weeks to complete, based on your luck. To speed up the process, avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this time. It is also recommended to avoid repeating quests that you can complete later on in the game. This can help you save time and energy.
When rerolling, it's important to be aware of the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to boost your character's power and appearance. Upgrades, rerolling characters and upgrading weapons are all options. Additionally, it is important to understand the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling isn't necessary, but it is an option to increase the chances of acquiring a certain character or weapon. It is a great option in the case of trying to find the best character in the game or if you're wanting to try different styles of play and builds.
Sets
A set is an object collection that has 2 common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen, or the members of a group). Sets can be used for operations like intersection, union and difference.
Upgrades can make a set better than before. This means that weapons and armor will have a greater defense value and less strength requirements.
Upgrades can bring popular items from single sets to parity with items in higher-level sets. For example upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to an Elite Spired Helm increases the defense from 217 to 321 while reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.
It is important to keep in mind that not all items in a set are suitable for upgrading. Certain sets, such as the FB Sorc Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzler staff, are already exceptional in their own right and don't require upgrading. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their performance even more. It might be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
